Rafael Osmo: my music career has gone through many incarnations

Today we are pleased to welcome another talent to Radio Intense, Rafael Osmo!

Today Rafael is a cross-genre octopus, he pretty much touched everything from underground Techno and Melodic House.

To mark the new release "Steps" coming on Area Verde, we invited Rafael Osmo for a chat, enjoy!
— Hello Rafael, and thanks for taking the time to chat to us.
How has 2023 been for you so far? Any highlights?
— So far I have started the year great! With great releases on Vandit / Coldharbour. And of course the next release on Area Verde "Steps".
— Congrats on your upcoming release "Steps" on Area Verde! What can you tell about it? What do you hope to achieve with the release? Why did you choose Area Verde as a home for your release?
— Thank you very much ! The above label does an excellent job!
Of course, with each release I look forward and think what this label can contribute to me. Area Verde team does a professional, excellent work, at the highest level!
And there are results, you can see it in the field, the amount of support they receive is great!
— Going back to your formative years, can you explain when and how you fell in love with electronic music? Was there a particular moment when the penny dropped?
— I actually started at the age of 16, in 1999.
I entered this world in Israel in those times when it was very difficult to produce and here weren't the tools we have today. I started working with Impulse Tracker.
And then I moved to work with Cubase.

From then until today, my music career has gone through many incarnations from projects to other projects of different styles. In fact, since 2010 I have been producing music as a profession for everything "main job". If it's ghost productions, if it's a mix, mastering.

I have a great radio show called "Progline". I put my stamp on labels like: Vandit, Coldharbour, Perfecto

I have collaborations with Paul Van Dyk - 2 tunes called: Two Rivers, Moments With You, which reached a crazy exposure of several millions under youtube.

And some collabs with Marco V , and remixes for Ferry Corsten and for Armin Van Buuren .

And my "Alt_Man" project which is actually techno peak time under coldharbour, exclusivity.
— What is next on for you?
— Right now I want to stay around Area Verde since I love the work they do and continue to sign things and get amazing support from them.

In addition, I have several performances in the coming months, it will be possible to see me in Israel from May when Ferry Corsten coming to us.
